I agree, there is NO way that the gay movement compares to the civil rights movements. My sentiments exactly. You have to be joking to think they are similar.

I totally disagree with you. Do you want Obama to leave Afghanistan to the hands of the Talibans? Even if it was a past US administration who help them to rise, someone needs to do something about it. As for the gay movement issue, there are many similarities with the civil rights one and you obviously do not know much about it (or you are consciously or not anti-gay, which is worse). In case you wonder I am straight - but unlike you I am not blind.

Well said Sir.
It is disturbing, to say the least,to watch the hope for change that people had/have (particulary in our community) materialize into nothing more than hype and politics. I wonder how our community will respond as it becomes clear that our efforts of galvanizing for the election probably will not bear fruit to our benefit. Again, well said sir.

Very deep, I like the wording and it's correct. I think the Pres. bending for gays does not make any sense whatsoever but the brother said it right by pointing out the face that the Pres. is trying to be all things to all people. Very good editoral.
